Pyrenees

Hello! I feel like such an awful blogger at the moment, but now I'm all done and dusted with work for the Summer (apart from the mountain of German books I'm going to attempt to read), I'm looking forward to having more time for blogging! I spent the first week of the holidays on a pretty intense trip to the Pyrenees. Despite the twenty-odd miles per day and the never ending hills (which always only ever seemed to go upwards), I had such an amazing time. Although my good old Nikon became a slight pain considering it's hefty weight, I'm so glad I brought it - and I thought I'd share my captures on here! The views were just beautiful, and perhaps taken a little for granted - the mountains looked surreal, almost like a Hollywood backdrop. We even had time for the via ferrata (rock climbing) and canyoning, which I'm pretty impressed to have survived, considering I can hardly swim! It was also a chance to try out my very phrasebook-esque French, and after ordering what I thought to have been a chocolate pancake after walking 20 miles and then having been given a hot chocolate with a coke, with another three hours before dinner, I decided there was perhaps room for improvement! However, if I could do it all again tomorrow, I most definitely would! How are your Summer plans coming along?
Hope you're having a lovely week,
Eva :) xxx
