Seed, A Shovel & Soil. Money Tree, Please?

Hello bloggers! It's been a hectic few weeks and apologies for no recent posts...school work and the odd good book has completely thrown me. So, seeing as I've got more time this week, I was planning on mooching through the shops at the weekend...until I realised I hadn't a penny! So, of course, I felt compelled to look online and torture myself by looking at all the clothes I can't afford! I even surfed the sales, even though I couldn't buy anything there, either. I had to put a few of the finds up anyway, to satisfy my shopaholic within...though I do hope I can go shopping soon - it'd be a nice change from the mountain of coursework that's been keeping my company the past few weeks!

Favourite Trends Of The Year!

I hope you all had a great Christmas holiday! It's gone ridiculously fast...I'm already back at school, and it's as hectic as ever, so this post is a tad overdue. We've ended yet another year, so I thought I'd do a quick post showing some of my (and probably yours, too!)  favourite main trends of the year. Fashion is so contemporary, that the new season of clothing will come, and trends will quickly change, so I thought it would be nice to do a post remembering last year's style, before it's rapidly forgotten in the bundle of new clothing to come!

Spring/Summer

I loved the tribal patterns that overtook the stores for a while! I love different cultures, and find it so interesting, that it was the perfect reason to incorporate it into my style for the Summer!

Tie-dye was another Summer trend, and I love the 70s style so this one has to be up there in my favourites.

The maxi-dress was another big trend for in hot weather. I'll admit, I didn't wear these much, however on the right person, I think they look brilliant!

Autumn/Winter

Hiker heels have been the ultimate footwear for me this season. I live in brogues for most of the year and these were a lovely change to wear in the cold weather!

The camel coat is probably my favourite trend of the year. The classy look is so easily obtained from one  and it reminds me of people such as Katherine Hepburn. I love that look!

The fur has been brilliant for the cold weather, and I live in England, so I'm probably not saying goodbye to them yet fortunately! They're great for wrapping up warm...and they're a timeless piece!

So those are my favourite trends of the year, and I can't wait for this year's style too! Fashion is always timeless though, and I love how trends are always recycled, so we'll probably be seeing many more of these trends again soon...I'd like to hear your favourites too?!
