Festive Spirit! ♥

   So, anyone else counting down the days? Only one more to go 'til Christmas!  :)

   Usually, I'm not a very merry person at Christmas, seeing as I'm not particularly religious for the day, but I just love how everything changes around this time! All the town's decorated, you break out your dusty box of tinsel - and wrapping paper -  and the rest is history, so I really do love the time of year (also, we're having a white Christmas this year - me being the few who see it as a bonus!)

   The only problem is, I'm a very 'last-minute' sort of person, so I've spent yesterday and today rushing around, buying all my Christmas presents for everyone! It can get a bit stressful, but I managed to buy a few things for myself, to ease the stress! 

   I popped to Birmingham, so I had to make my usual trip to their massive Waterstones, and ended up buying the 'Coco Chanel: The Legend and the Life' book by Justine Picardie as a Christmas treat for myself...and it's proving to be a great read! She had such an interesting life, and I highly recommend reading about it. I really should've put her in my 'Role Models' post...

   I also had to have a glance in Pop-Store, which I love, and I always have to have a quick look in there, before the shop closes and moves on (if you haven't heard of it, it's quite literally a 'Pop!' shop, and then it disappears soon after opening!), and luckily for me, they had a sale on, so I had to buy a few things, which I'm sure you'll be seeing in future posts soon!

   Anyway, just wanted to write a quick-something before Christmas...I couldn't resist putting up a few photos too!

Clothes Show Part II ♥ (Finally!)

   As promised, I have been working today and, seeing as there were so many Clothes Show photos, I decided to put together a little video of some of my catwalk photos! It's quite short and sweet, but shows my favourite outfits from the show! Hope you like it ( oh, and music is Le Tigre - Deceptacon. No copyright infringement intended! :)

 It was a great day and I loved the atmosphere there! I also got a few street-style shots, but I want a bit of a collection before I do a post on it! Knowing me, I'll be getting another Clothes Show ticket next year too! :)

   I'll post again soon, and if not before Saturday, I hope you all have a merry Christmas! Where I live, we've had a heap of snow, so it'll definitely be a white Christmas for us so I'll be sure to upload some pictures in the snow! How will you be spending yours?

P.S: I also redesigned my blog template (again!) and I'm happy with it now (finally!). After being uninspired for weeks, I've snapped out of it, worked on my blog and I hope you like it! Post again soon! :)

Clothes Show - PART I :)

   I think I ought to make another apology, but life has been hectic, so I haven't managed to write anything recently - so I haven't made a post on Clothes Show - which I was really looking forward to...Better late than never though, right? Anyway, on the 4th, I was lucky enough to go to Birmingham's NEC with my great friend, Stef, who bought me a ticket (and who's blog you can see here) for the Clothes Show. Of course, we took our cameras, and there was so much, I didn't think I would have any space on my camera left! 

   The show was great, with a dancing act to start each new section - which was based on 'A Night At The Movies' (and they had everything - ranging from the 'Wild West' to 'Rocky Horror!) - and then they had the catwalk to follow...

   I thought it would be easier to post it in two parts, this part showing the dancing photos, and then show you all the great new trends going on on the catwalk in the second part! 

   It was great, too good for words, and I hope the photos will suffice for both posts to show you all how great it was...!

   The performances were brilliant, and the post for the clothing will be up tomorrow after I've sorted through all the photos! Wish me luck!
