Winter :)

So...I was supposed to be doing the street fashion project for the local magazine...however, I've had all my mocks this week...to put it nicely - it's been hectic!
And I thought seeing as I'm going to Clothes Show this week, I'll be seeing some interesting outfits then, so I'll definitely be uploading the street fashion photos this weekend instead!

I've been so busy these past two weeks, but before you know it, I'll be back to normal posts! For the time being though, you'll have to put up with this post...

Anyway! We've got snow by where I live, so I'm dreading what December will be like! I took my dog for a walk and got a few snapsnaps today of her! Nothing fashion related for once! But hope you enjoy nonetheless! :D

Only a few quick edits! And can't wait to get some snapsnaps at Clothes Show :) I'm looking forward to my next post :D

A Small Change!

Hii!
So, after my last post, having a bit of a moan that I need to sort my blog out, I decided to change it a bit! You might've noticed the blog looks a bit different - yeah or neigh? It's only a small change, and from now on I'll try and keep to regular posts!
Just wanted to jot that down!
Oh - and I've been asked to go out and take photos of people with an interesting fashion sense and find out about their clothes for a small magazine - my dream job! :) It's a one off though, but I'll be sure to upload my photos here too!

Thanks for following - it really means a lot!
Tell me what you think of the new look!

Buy Of The Week!

Hii!

I'm having a bit of an ill day, so I thought I'd share a couple of quick snaps of my buy of the week!
I also apologize if my blog's a bit all over the place! I think I need to stick to one design, but instead of my usual sheets I've just got pictures! Fingers crossed I have it sorted by next week, and sorry for the mess it must be looking! ;)

So! I went to TkMax the other day (aka, Heaven) and found the loveliest Edina Ronay coat! I don't know much about her or her collection, but the few pieces I've seen before are lovely, though I just can't afford them! So you can imagine my happiness when I came across one in the TkMax sale - reduced to £58 from its original £290 :) I still can't afford it, so I'm gradually paying my mom back, who bought it for me...just another £38 to cough up and I'm back to buying in the sales!

I haven't sorted out what I'm going to regularly do with my posts, so here's a quick taster of the coat, incase I decide to upload some pictures in the future of it being worn!

I'm absolutely in love :D I've had a very bad obsession with coats lately, and one even caught my eye in Topshop the other day, which I'm planning on having as a birthday present :)

I was also rummaging through my wardrobe the other day, and luckily came across a little scarf I bought when I was about 12 in Cornwall! I love it when you find an old treasure, and I've been wearing it a lot recently - I'm really getting into the equestrian trend :)

Anyway! Have a good week and thanks for following, and please let me know below if you have any ideas for my blog :)

Hii!

Sorry, I haven't been regularly posting the past couple of weeks  - exams, exams, exams! But I have decided to do my '...of the week' posts every week - because I haven't been living it up to it's title! So I shall try my hardest to make all my posts when they should be!

So! After that quick note, I thought I'd tell you about my fashion role models in life: but be warned - they're a little bit typical!

Katherine Hepburn

I'm sure you've all heard of her, and I think she's an absolute icon, and not just for her acting! Her sense of style influenced the changes to many decades, mainly because of her untraditional fashion sense. Her choice in more masculine outfits astonished the people of the time, when women only wore dresses and skirts. To be brave enough to completely change the 'law' of the style in her time really inspires me, and all the pictures I ever see of her depict a style that can be flawlessly glamourous in any decade, and she is my top role model in life! :)

Audrey Hepburn

Hepburn was just effortlessly stylish, and the way her classy approach to style was evident in everyday casual clothes is just inspiring! I love her as an actress and person too, but her fashion icon title is truly deserved! She proved it's not about what you wear, it's about how you wear it and the way she dressed individually and for herself! The quote I love about her is when she said: I never think of myself as an icon. What is in other people`s minds is not in my mind. I just do my thing.  :)

Twiggy

I just love Twiggy and her style! She's just so individual and I think the way she handled fame at such a young age was amazing as she comes across as so down to earth! Her style was and is so influencial and she is very inspiring to me! :)

So, there's my fashion role models! I think the celebrities that dress themselves are the best, like Alexa Chung and not all that employed stylisting on X factor and other shows, but that's just me! I love mix and matching and picking out my own thing too, though I look to magazines for a lot of tips too!

Thanks for following! And I'd love to hear your role models too!
