Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!

So, I went Winter clothe shopping the other day, and ended up buying a load of sales from the summer! What can I say? I'm weak. But Miss Selfridge had some good buys, and I got a lovely coat for the Winter for under £20, so at least it came in some use. Plus, I love layering outfits, so I guess I can arrange all my summer buys together in according to the recent weather!
One thing I'm missing - shoes! And having been used to trainers and loafers recently, I am in desperate need of a pair of sturdy boots and so took to the internet to find some...though, knowing me, I found a load more that I wanted, that probably wouldn't get me through the cold weather! I'm terrible with buying necessary clothes, but I'll try to work on it. Small steps, small steps. And I'd thought I'd share some of my favourites with you.

1. ASOS, £40, 2. Dorothy Perkins, £18, 3. River Island, £34.99, 4. Topshop, £35, 5. Urban Outfitters, £38, 6. Next, £60, 7. Boohoo, £35,  8. TK Maxx (Giorgio Picino), £19.99

  • Kitten heels and Sling-backs are back in style this Winter, so I especially like 1 and 2!
  • Also, just because the Winter winter makes you feel dreary, don't dress like it! It's all about colour, which 8 really shows!
So what about any of you? Been on the search for the perfect pair of shoes? Found any? Please share, I'd love to hear what everyone's into this year, and hopefully you'll have found better prices than mine!

Just A Quick Note!

Just wanted to say that I have a new blog, which you can get to by clicking here

I will still use this blog a lot, but I enjoy journalism  - so I thought new topics, new blog! It will mostly be my 'articles' (favoured word for 'ramblings') on the past, and how our lifestyle, fashion, views etc have altered over time.

Hopefully you'll like what I have to say, and I'll be putting up more fashion-y related posts soon!

Thanks for following!

Lanvin + H&M = ♥

Hii! Thought I'd write another post seeing as I've been leaving my blogger account very dejected!

And I have some good news...

Mark your calendars for November 23rd: it's the release date for Lanvin collaborating with H&M, and I'm quite excited! I love a good range of clothes, but with H&M's pricing, it should be double the joy! I think I'll have a good mooch through H&M next month then at Birmingham, but I bet there'll hardly be much left!
I wish they'd open one near me, but I do like an excuse to have a good shop around the Bullring!

For those who don't know what Lanvin is, it's a high fashion house in Paris, founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin - who started it as a boutique. I think it's amazing how a boutique held the test of time and over the years has made a name for itself. Just to think of all the history fashion holds, and the clothing that changes thoroughout time in a place like Lanvin for many generations to visit is really interesting to think of!

I really can't wait to see what they bring to H&M, and hope you like it too!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, I'm especially excited this week seeing as my friend bought me a ticket to go to the clothes show with her! It's in Birmingham - and I'll see Gok Wan - plus I have front seat tickets so I'll get a close up experience watching the cat walk!
Can't wait for it to come in December - and I'll make sure to upload plenty of pictures when I get back!

Post again soon, and thanks for following!

Another Absence!

Wow. I haven't had chance to blog in awhile!

I just got back from Duke Of Edinburgh (Silver) which was very tiring! For those who don't know, it's lugging a very heavy rucksack up hills for three days and sleeping in tents which are freezing cold!
It turned out to be very fun though - even though I've only just caught up on my sleep :)

Anyway, I thought I'd share some items on my latest wishlist! I going to a party next week, and I'm terrible with dresses, so I had a shop in Birmingham last week to find something! I've been mooching on the interweb too and there are so many things I need to save up to buy!
(I sadly admit to not buying many bargains recently! I blame Topshop!)

Dress - £30 - Warehouse (Bought!)
Bag - £45 - Dorothy Perkins
Bracelet - £15 - Accessorize
Ring - £20 - Accessorize
Shoes - £25 - BooHoo

  • Can't wait to wear the dress soon! But I really would love those heels to go with them! If only money grew from trees...

BTW!

Loving the new Winter shoe trend of Hiker Heels! There's some lovely ones around Topshop! Think I'll be in need of them for the cold dark days we'll be getting soon!

Thanks for reading!

Sorry For The Absence!

Firstly, I haven't blogged as much as I've wanted - though I have my english and math GCSE's coming, and I'm revising like a true nerd!
Secondly, I have been bad enough to go into Urban Outfitters today, and came out penniless! It cannot be helped, I see the word 'SALE' and dash forwards.

Here's my buys from Birmingham today, and my lovely finds from charity shops! Hope you like them!

  • I was so happy to go through a good sale rack in U.O, though I bought another dress, took the train home, and found the zipper had completely broken! Looks like I'll have to go again next week for my return...and maybe another shopping spree...
  • That gucci watch is one of my favourite things now ;) I love having that one thing that makes you feel special when you wear it. Gosh, I watch Ugly Betty wayyy to much to be coming out with these lines!
  • That cardigan with that watch is from H&M, 9.99, and I love it! I'll probably wear it with purple and stripes!

  • These are my bargains of the week! I was very happy with those dresses, and nearly bought a DKNY dress, but it completely drowned me...
  • The waist coat is from camden market, I think, and I saved that St. Michael blazer from my mother's blitz out! Thank gosh, too! I love it, but I think I'll be needing something warmer for these cold nights!
Hope you liked my buys, and link me so I can see all your amazing buys too!
I'll hopefully update soon, when I've finished revising my head off! Hope you're all having a good weekend, and thanks for following! (:

P.S
  • Got a lovely blazer too, from U.O, for £20! And visited POP STORE and it's the perfect place! Everything was far from what I could afford, but the place was lovely - the till was even in a truck! (: Gotta love Birmingham; after all, they do have Krispy Cremes! (;
  • Went to the cinema yesterday, and watched Buried  - biggest mistake ever, I wasn't a fan! So my friends and I snuck out of that screen and slipped in to watch Eat Love Pray which was better! :and it makes me even more thrilled for when my gap year gets here! Saving up to go travelling, though I doubt it'll have the same perfection it does in a hollywood view with Julia Roberts! A girl can dream!
