Hii again!

Okay - It's truly the fall now!
I've caught a terrible cold (bad times!) and have had the last few days off school, which isn't good because I've got another big exam coming up! From what I hear, everyone's got it this week so I'm not the only one! Let's hope the weather doesn't get too brutal...though, afterall...I am living in England...

I hoped to get some photos to share with you about my latest buys, but they're more summery clothes so I think I'll probably not get the chance! Fingers crossed I can share my stuff at the weekend though for now...I'll settle for showing (yet another - sorry!) sheet on my wishlists!

• I love that scarf  - I saw one on Ugly Betty a couple of years ago, and since I've been determined to buy one!
• I love the colours of these kohl pencils - perfect combo - plus suitable for any season of the year!
• I bought a top like this last week, but in dark blue, and I think it's lovely! They're comfy to wear - plus they go great with a pair of blue skinnys in my opinion! (:

Just A Little Something...

Hi Again!

Wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone for being interested in my blog! I was having a bad day a bit today, so seeing this made me perk up! (:

Also, I was surfing the internet today...well, surfing Urban Outfitters (what girl doesn't?) And I found some great bargains in their sales so I picked a few favourites that made an outfit that I'd love - for only £30 - though I haven't bought anything! I guess I need money for that!

• I love having simple washed out outfits, though if I wore this, I'd probably add a bright bag to add a bit of colour! I also couldn't pick between those two pairs of shoes - but it can't hurt to put both up! (:
• By the way, I don't advertise shops, I'm just such an U.O nerd at heart!

Hopefully I'll visit a car boot at the weekend too! Can't wait for the school week to end, even though it's only tuesday! Posts to come!

Latest 2010 Fashion Picks!

As you all know, the days are getting shorter and Autumn's nearly with us! After all my summer shopping, it seems a shame that it might be months before the weather's right to wear all my holiday buys again! ): But there's always an upside:  SUMMER SALES! :)

And the other upside to a new season, I find, is the excitement of all the new designs to fit it! I've hand picked my favourite ones and I found the best high street buys - I better get saving!

• Cigarette jeans are very similar to skinnys, but they have a straight cut from the knee - I love the shape of them; they'd go well with everything! I especially love the black ones - ideal for matches with pastel colours and blouses!

• Camel colours are my new favourite! All the different shades mean that the colour with go with everyone and everything! When using a lot of this colour in an outfit, I'd say to try and include darker accessories (e.g. black, grey etc).

OH! And if any Urban Outfitter lovers are on here, they have a brand called BDG! Check them out on their site if you haven't already. The jeans in my sheet above are BDG's and I gotta say they've got some great stuff - plus, the prices aren't outrageous! Visit BDG products here.

Hi There!

Hii!

How about that: I've made a blog!

I'm a bit of a vlogger and blogger nerd. Love watching and reading them, and finally got round to making one!

Taken my time, though! I've considered making a blog for a year, but never thought I had anything worth while to share! Hopefully, Polkadots & Pinafores won't be too boring, as I thought I'd post things about my daily life as a teenager and my hobbies.

I'm a tad nerdy about the 1950's and 60's and love looking at the then contemporary fashion that developed!

I love to spend my days with my nikon, taking pictures of all sorts! And when I get the chance, I'm drawing, reading, writing, mucking out stables (lovely!), and, ofcourse, looking out for a bargain!

I especially love hunting for bags! It's my bad obsession so I've banned myself from buying topshop related bags for the next month, and I'm surviving on the wonder of car boots and charity shops, and my own sewing skills (which, by the by, are very, very appalling!)

I'll keep you posted on the dull wonders of being a teenager with exams, school work and a shopaholic habit.

(Hopefully no more posts will be this long! Sorry!)
